Blair Chang is a co-founder of The Agency and a second-generation realtor, having entered the business in his hometown of San Marino, California, where he was named Rookie of the Year in his first year. A year later he relocated his practice to Beverly Hills. Before real estate, Chang worked in fashion and advertising, and in 2005 he partnered with Billy Rose to form Rose + Chang, then serving as Executive Director of the Architectural Division at Prudential California Realty. In September 2011, Chang, Rose, and Mauricio Umansky founded The Agency.
Chang’s practice is concentrated on architecturally significant estates across L.A.’s Westside, from the Sunset Strip to Santa Barbara, with particular depth in Brentwood, Bel Air, and Trousdale Estates. He recorded $166 million in sales in 2021 and currently holds the record for the highest-priced home ever sold in Brentwood, a $65 million closing, according to the Los Angeles Business Journal. He has represented listings by architects including Richard Neutra, Marmol and Radziner, and Paul Williams.
