The seller was a trust tied to the late businessman and philanthropist Dana Hamel, whose family had purchased the nearly 1-acre site in 1991 for $2.5 million. The 6,800-square-foot house, built in 1992, went on the market in April asking $35 million. James Kenny and Paul Kaneb of K2 Realty held the listing. The buyer took title as 11800 Turtle Beach Road LLC.
