The house spans approximately 17,000 square feet with eight bedrooms. After the Los Angeles transfer tax, known as Measure ULA and applied at four to five and a half percent on sales above five million dollars, the seller netted less than the original purchase price. The transaction is a clean illustration of how the tax has altered hold-period math at the top of the Los Angeles market.
Bel Air recorded a modest number of trades above $30 million in the first half of 2026. The submarket continues to price against Beverly Hills and the Bird Streets rather than against its own recent history.
