Chartwell, the ten-acre Bel Air estate of the late Univision chairman A. Jerrold Perenchio, sold to Lachlan Murdoch for $150 million in December 2019, at closing the highest price ever recorded for a California residence. First offered at $350 million, the estate closed at less than half its original ask. Drew Fenton represented both sides of the transaction.
